Sun - swimming pool, sea and lake. You're probably wondering how to protect and care for the little ones' skin afterwards so that it stays baby soft? When should I use an oil and when should I use a cream?
Immediately after swimming, we recommend a thorough shower and bath to rinse off any remaining sunscreen and chlorinated water. Afterwards, the Organic Baby Cream is particularly suitable for the face and body. Because the baby cream contains no water, but only aloe vera direct juice as a basis. Aloe Vera has natural soothing and cooling properties that can be particularly beneficial after a swim. It can help reduce any redness or irritation on the skin that may be caused by the chlorine in the pool water or other irritating factors. Additionally, aloe vera is an effective moisturizer and can help keep skin hydrated and protected from drying out. Swimming in water can dry out the skin, so it's important to keep it hydrated to maintain its natural suppleness. In addition, aloe vera contains many nutrients and vitamins that can contribute to skin health. It can help keep skin soft, supple, and well-nourished. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe any skin irritation or mild sunburn that may occur.
Depending on the skin status, the Organic Wonder Oil has more moisturizing properties than the Organic Baby Cream. Oil forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface that helps lock in the skin's natural moisture and reduce moisture loss. For example, the oil blends in Organic Wonder Oil have the ability to provide the skin with lipids and nutrients that can strengthen the skin's moisture barrier and help maintain moisture levels. The oils can help reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by acting as a sealing layer and reducing the evaporation of moisture from the skin.
For example, the composition of the jojoba oil contained in Organic Wonder Oil is similar to that of the natural oil (sebum) produced by our skin. These oils are particularly well absorbed by the skin and help to moisturize the skin without leaving a greasy residue.
In summary for the baby:
Immediately after swimming: Organic Baby Cream. You can also mix them with the Organic Wonder Oil (50-50)
In the evening before going to bed: Organic Wonder Oil
For us (normal to dry skin):
When the skin is tight: Organic Wonder Oil
If the skin is reddish, irritated (e.g. itchy, red) or sunburned: Organic Baby Cream! When the baby cream has soaked in, apply the Organic Wonder Oil.
